Northwest Michigan Surgery Center was developed by local physicians, in partnership with Munson Medical Center, to create a state-of-the-art surgical care center. This facility services the expanding outpatient needs of Northern Michigan.

The Northwest Michigan Surgery Center offers elective outpatient surgeries and procedures. Patients requiring emergency services and extended overnight care will continue to be served at Munson Medical Center.

 The Surgery Center serves patients from a variety of Board certified/eligible physicians and surgeons. Typical services to be provided include Orthopedic, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmologic, General Surgical, Gastrointestinal, Ear Nose & Throat, Foot/Podiatric, Urologic, Gynecologic and other specialties.
